Meet Our Instructor
Anne Silvestri
Hi, I’m Anne! I am the owner of Return to Center Wellness. I was certified as a Group Fitness Instructor in 2024 and specialize in teaching Qigong. I am passionate about sharing my unique perspective on the benefits that mindful movement can bring into our lives.
I have struggled with chronic physical and mental health conditions for much of my adult life. I started studying Qigong in 2021 as part of a chronic pain management program, and I found my life finally moving in a new direction.
While my conditions will never be completely eliminated, I have found a way to live with them rather than suffering from them. I now have newfound health that allows me the ability to share my form of gentle movement with others.
I believe that we never stop learning and value everything my students teach me, too. I strive to have the classes I provide benefit our spirits as much as our bodies and minds. Let’s keep moving together!
ACE Certification information
ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructors are exercise professionals who meet all requirements of the American Council on Exercise to develop and lead group fitness classes. They focus on helping people enhance their fitness and modify risk factors for chronic disease to improve health. The ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agency (NCCA).
ACE Professionals are required to earn 20 hours of ACE-approved continuing education credits (2.0 CECs) every certification renewal cycle. Establishing and enforcing that standard helps validate that professionals continue to enhance their competence to safely and effectively lead people to health-related change through group exercise.
